The Story Behind the Leadership Branding Institute
The Leadership Branding Institute was founded on a simple but powerful insight Dr. Eric Boyd recognized early in his career: leadership is not defined only by what you can do, but by whether others understand, value, and rely on it.
Long before becoming a marketing scholar and leadership coach, Dr. Boyd was drawn to how meaning travels. As a teenager collecting baseball cards, he noticed that every card carried more than statistics. It carried a story. A reputation. A signal others recognized and remembered.
That insight stayed with him.
Across more than 25 years as a professor, business leader, and executive coach, Dr. Boyd observed the same pattern repeated in organizations of every size and industry.
